About Quinta Barbara Bela Luisa l Large family house

This luxurious and recently very attractively renovated quinta, equipped with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, is located on a spacious plot of no less than 14 hectares in the village of Gorjoes, in a rural area near the historic city of Loulé and the attractive towns of Santa Barbara de Nexe and Sao Bras de Alportel. In addition to the four-bedroom main house for 8 people, Quinta Barbara consists of a guesthouse for four people and a cottage for two adults and two children.

The large child-friendly garden, richly planted with olive, almond and fruit trees, has several terraces, an old well, football field, table tennis table, jeu-de-boules court and a spacious swimming pool (10 x 5 m.) with paddling pool and sunbeds. Directly adjacent to the luxurious and generously sized kitchen is a covered terrace where large groups can enjoy a delicious meal. Here we also find the beautifully tiled fixed barbecue area. The very tastefully decorated quinta has been renovated while retaining countless authentic Portuguese elements and is equipped with all modern comforts. The spacious kitchen has an original Portuguese tile floor, but also a large Smeg stove, Quooker, dishwasher and espresso machine. A wood-burning stove and washer-dryer. Next to the kitchen is an extra shower room with toilet that can also be reached from the pool. The comfortable living room is equipped with a large sofa and various armchairs, a flat screen and a beautiful wood stove.

The main house has four air-conditioned bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. The other three bedrooms share a bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet and bidet. The Cottage has a large bedroom, a smaller and adjoining living bedroom and a bathroom, making it suitable for two adults and two children. The guesthouse has two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue. In total Quinta Barbara can accommodate fourteen adults and two babies. For smaller groups it is also possible to rent only the main house, possibly in combination with only the guesthouse or cottage. The house is cleaned once a week and provided with new linen and towels.

Shopping can be done in the supermarket in the nearest village of Santa Barbara de Nexe (5 km) or Soa Bras de Alportel. Here we also find some typical Portuguese restaurants. The city of Loulé, also known for its beautiful covered fresh market, is 8 kilometers from the quinta. A day at the beach requires a drive of about 15 minutes.

Het huis is prachtig en de tuin is heerlijk! We kunnen deze mooie plek absoluut aanraden. Het zwembad hadden we laten verwarmen, dat was in mei nog wel nodig en we hebben er elke dag van genoten! Alles was smaakvol ingericht en ook alles was aanwezig, het ontbrak ons aan niks. Een heel volledig huis. De kinderen hadden lekker veel ruimte om het huis heen. Het was een heerlijke week!

Super super top!

Wij zijn met 7 volwassenen en 4 kids een week in de Quinta Barbara Bela Luis geweest. Super mooie en schone villa met een enorme tuin er omheen. Voetballen, tafeltennis en jeu-de-boules en een verwarmd zwembad… wat hebben we genoten alles wat je nodig hebt is in de villa aanwezig. Met Claudia die met je meedenkt kan je afspraken maken om het zo fijn mogelijk te maken. Vroege vlucht dan kan je de bagage vast droppen wij hadden tevens een late terugvlucht we konden langer in de villa blijven omdat er na ons niet meteen nieuwe gasten kwamen echt top !! Goede betrouwbare organisatie waarbij je echt waar krijgt voor je geld!! Was echt super en voor herhaling vatbaar.

What an experience and definitely recommended!

Been to this beautiful house with the whole family! What a great house to be with a group. 2 separate houses so everyone has some privacy. A lovely large kitchen where everything can be found. The children also enjoyed playing in the 2 'attics', which was their own space for them. The pool was also lovely, nice that it was on the terrace so we could keep a close eye on the children! We also had Roberto cook for us one evening, what an experience and definitely recommended!

Gorjões is located in the beautiful countryside of the Algarve. The city of Faro is approximately 20 kilometers away, giving Gorjões a convenient location for access to amenities and the airport. The village retains its traditional charm with whitewashed houses and a relaxed lifestyle. Gorjões celebrates local festivals and events, bringing the community together to celebrate traditions and enjoy Portuguese culture.

Gorjões provides local shops for daily necessities, but for more extensive shopping, you can go to Faro, which is about 20 kilometers away. Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of water, air conditioning and electricity (including the washing of bed linen, etc., maintenance of the pool and garden) and the use of Wi-Fi. Not included is the use of wood for the fireplace. The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of persons.If visitors stay overnight during your stay, costs are involved.Please report this on arrival or during your stay.

Deposit
If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account within 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of any damage incurred will be required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and route description. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rent
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and around Quinta Barbara, caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance. Upon arrival, a hostess will be present for reception.
