About Casa da Lila l Enchanting city villa in the old center

Casa da Lila in the historic town of Silves may at first sight appear to be a modest, typical Portuguese town house, but behind the front door is a true design gem. The three-bedroom and three-bathroom city villa was recently completely rebuilt and is therefore a completely new house in an 'old' jacket, as it were. Casa da Lila is an ideal holiday address for six people, but not suitable for children under ten years due to the open staircase and various terraces.

The city villa, located in a cozy street where mainly Portuguese live, offers from three levels a truly magnificent view over Silves and the wider area. On fine days you can even see Monchique and Foia, the highest point of the Algarve, from the highest terrace.

The ground floor consists of a bedroom with en suite bathroom, a living room with wood burner and a kitchen with terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. One level lower we find another spacious bedroom and a bathroom with a double waterfall shower and rain shower. The comfortable master bedroom, equipped with an open bathroom including a free-standing bath, rain shower and separate toilet, is located on the highest level. From the master bedroom you have direct access to the terrace with lounge sofa, outdoor shower and 'outdoor kitchen' with sink, refrigerator and washing machine. The garden, complete with wooden deck and swimming pool.

The sleek and extremely beautifully decorated interior has been composed with the greatest care. Standout features include handmade Portuguese tiles and vintage furniture by top designers. Modern technology has also been thought of: the entire house and the outdoor areas have fast and powerful WiFi, all bedrooms have a SMART TV and the living room has satellite TV. You also have the Raumfeld soundbar at your disposal so that you can enjoy your favorite music during your holiday. Thanks to the air conditioning and electric underfloor heating throughout the house, Stadsvilla Li guarantees a comfortable stay in all seasons.

Casa da Lila is a perfect destination for smaller groups who want to go out during the day to discover all the beautiful things in the immediate vicinity, and then enjoy the terraces of Casa da Lila in the evenings with a good glass of wine in hand. sunset and the spectacular view.

Service, top vakantie en prachtige villa’s

Tom, Bedankt voor je altijd vriendelijke hulp, je snelle reacties op vragen vanuit ons en de deskundigheid en liefde voor je vak. Wij hebben mogen verblijven in 2 enorm mooie stads villa’s. Casa bon ton overtrof alle verwachtingen, wij en de kinderen hebben zo intens genoten in dit huis. Casa da Lila, wat een uitzicht.. adembenemend. We zitten alweer op de site om onze volgende vakantie uit te zoeken☺️☀️ Wij raden dus iedereen de service van Tom aan, je vind deze gastvrijheid niet snel meer tegenwoordig!

Location & site

Algarve - Silves

Silves is centrally located in the Algarve, approximately 16 kilometers inland from the coast. This convenient location makes it an excellent base for exploring both the inland and coastal areas of the region. Silves was once the capital of the Moorish province of Algarve and was known as "Xelb" during that time.

Within Silves itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and local shops to meet all your needs. In addition to supermarkets, Silves also offers various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine.

For fascinating Moorish history, you can visit the medieval castle within the center of Silves. Silves Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.

For more architecture, you can visit the "Cathedral of Silves" (Sé Catedral de Silves) within further walking distance. The Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia) offers more history and remains of Silves.

In addition to exploring the rich culture, you can, of course, unwind in natural areas such as Serra de Monchique and Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. Serra de Monchique is a beautiful mountainous area located about 30 kilometers from Silves and offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Parque Natural da Ria Formosa is a natural reserve with lagoons, islands, and various bird species, located approximately 70 kilometers from Silves.

The international airport of Faro, situated approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Silves.

Rental conditions

Requirements
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, water and electricity. Not included is the use of the electric underfloor heating in the cooler months of October to April. Wood for the wood-burning stove is also not included.
The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, this is of course no problem, but there are costs involved. Please report this to the house manager, Natalia, upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% is required. The remaining amount must be paid, together with the deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.
The reservation is only final after payment of 30%.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of €300. If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account within 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of any damage incurred will be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rent.
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa from 4 p.m. and you must vacate the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around Stadsvilla Casa da Li caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
