About Villa Dria| Modern and extremely comfortable

Villa Laranja, beautifully situated in the green hills around the historic town of Silves, is a modern and extremely comfortable holiday home that, with two suites, three bedrooms and five bathrooms, is suitable for groups of up to ten people. The total living area of the villa, consisting of two separate buildings, is no less than 300 m².

Thanks to the fenced and lush garden covered with fruit trees, Villa Laranja offers its residents optimal privacy. The view of the green hills and the town of Silves is nothing short of spectacular. The location is wonderfully quiet, but that does not alter the fact that you have all kinds of facilities within reach from the villa. Whether you want to visit cozy Silves, play a round on the most beautiful golf courses in the Algarve or want to top up your color on one of the beautiful beaches; it only takes you a short car ride. Faro airport is a 45-minute drive away.

Villa Laranja is sleek, but above all very attractively furnished and fully equipped. You will have access to air conditioning, WiFi, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, smart TV, Blu-ray player, safe and alarm. In addition to the spacious open kitchen, equipped with all conceivable equipment of the highest quality, the villa is also equipped with a spacious outdoor kitchen with barbecue, refrigerator, sink and cozy dining table. Thanks to the luxurious sunbeds and lounge furniture, you can relax on the terrace around the modern heated swimming pool. Here you can also use the outdoor shower and jacuzzi with a large sundeck.

The gate to heaven!

In May of this year we went to Villa Laranja with friends and our 2 children. We had been to Tom's villa before and had full confidence in it. He had already said that the road to it would look like you were wrong, well indeed, we certainly doubted. Until we saw a large white entrance gate at the end of the bumpy road. The gate to heaven! After entering you will continue to be amazed by the luxury and the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything here is taken care of down to the last detail. The bedding to the excess of hands. There is nothing lacking here. And as always the fridge and the fruit basket filled with the first refreshments. After the great journey of discovery in the house, we still have the country house. Two separate poolside rooms with phenomenal mountain views. This house has been set so beautifully on the lot that you can wake up every morning to the birds and the sound of nothing! Then there is the orchard that belongs to the house. A short walk around the house and you have the tastiest mandarins and lemons from your own garden. This house is a house to never leave. It has everything to return to the Netherlands completely relaxed (if this still succeeds after this wealth of luxury) Tom thank you very much for this house in your collection, we will definitely be back.

Most complete and luxious villa we have ever stayed

Dear Tom, with four friends and 3 children in total we stayed in the luxury Villa Laranja. This design villa with 5 beautiful bed rooms has a beautiful architecture and is the most complete and luxious villa we have ever stayed. It is located near Silves, a charming little city, in the middle of the orange orchard and you really have a stunning view over the orchard and the castle of Silves in the distance. We have used the gas bbq in the outside kitchen a lot, just like the swimming pool. From the Villa, you drive in about 10 minutes to Silves and in about 25 minutes to the beautiful beach of Praia Marinha (where you can also make a beautiful walk alongside the coast).
The Villa has everything you need and is really a lust for the eye. For colder evenings you can sit comfortable at the fireplace in the living room.
We had a great holiday and we hope to return, if it is not in Villa Laranja then in one of the other Villas!

Algarve - Silves

Silves is centrally located in the Algarve, approximately 16 kilometers inland from the coast. This convenient location makes it an excellent base for exploring both the inland and coastal areas of the region. Silves was once the capital of the Moorish province of Algarve and was known as "Xelb" during that time.

Within Silves itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and local shops to meet all your needs. In addition to supermarkets, Silves also offers various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine.

For fascinating Moorish history, you can visit the medieval castle within the center of Silves. Silves Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.

For more architecture, you can visit the "Cathedral of Silves" (Sé Catedral de Silves) within further walking distance. The Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia) offers more history and remains of Silves.

In addition to exploring the rich culture, you can, of course, unwind in natural areas such as Serra de Monchique and Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. Serra de Monchique is a beautiful mountainous area located about 30 kilometers from Silves and offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Parque Natural da Ria Formosa is a natural reserve with lagoons, islands, and various bird species, located approximately 70 kilometers from Silves.

The international airport of Faro, situated approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Silves.

Rental conditions

Requirements
The rent includes the use of WiFi, air conditioning, water, gas and electricity, the change of towels (2 x per week) and bed linen (1 x per week), the maintenance of the swimming pool and garden, and the final cleaning.
The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, costs are involved. Please report this to the owner upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount, including deposit, must be paid 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only final after a 30% deposit.

Deposit
The deposit is 1500 euros. This will be returned to your bank account within 7 days of your stay if no damage has been caused by you, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of damage incurred will be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the invoice.
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around Villa Dria Laranja caused by whatever circumstances.
