About Casa No Meio l Townhouse

Casa No Meio is a tastefully renovated townhouse, located in the historic center of the southern Portuguese port city of Portimão. This vibrant city in the Algarve is known for its great local cuisine and beautiful beaches. Casa no Meio therefore offers the ideal setting for a beach holiday and a good base to discover the many beautiful villages and towns in the area.

In a quiet street in Portimão you will find the terracotta colored townhouse Casa No Meio. Behind the beautiful facade you will find a bright house with a warm, inviting interior. A color palette of natural tones and natural materials provide a soothing appearance. You will find the first bedroom in the spacious loft. The second bedroom is located behind the sunny patio, so the house can accommodate 2+2 people.

The beautiful open kitchen invites you to stay at home for an evening and cook an extensive dinner, while the two sunny terraces tempt you to completely relax. Within a few minutes' walk you will be in the center of Portimão, where you can discover the many terraces, restaurants and shops. For an ultimate summer feeling and delicious local cuisine, you have come to the right place in this port city! In addition, the beautiful Algarve offers plenty of activities and special places to visit.

Beautiful little house, exactly as shown on the website. Portimão is a big city, and we didn’t really like the neighborhood of the house. The beds could use a mattress topper, as the mattresses and pillows were quite thin. Other than that, everything was absolutely TOP! Thank you for everything.

Location & site
Algarve - Portimão

Portimão, located on the Algarve coast, has a rich maritime history and was once an important fishing port. It is conveniently situated at the mouth of the Arade River, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

In Portimão itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and shopping centers, including Continente and Aqua Portimão, which provide everything you need. The city is known for its excellent dining options, with seafood restaurants along the harbor and traditional Portuguese taverns. Tip: Portimão is renowned for its delicious sweets, including "morgadinhos" and "dom Rodrigos," which you should definitely try during your visit.

For golden sands and large cliffs, visit Praia da Rocha, this famous beach is just a few kilometers from the city center. Forte da Santa Catarina is a historic fort on Praia da Rocha beach, just 3 kilometers away. For a cultural outing, visit the Museu de Portimão: This museum, located less than 2 kilometers from the city center, tells the story of the city and its maritime history.

Nature lovers and hikers can embark on an adventure in Serra de Monchique: a mountainous area about 30 kilometers away. Another protected natural area is Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina: This protected natural reserve, approximately 50 kilometers west of Portimão, offers vast pristine beaches and stunning cliffside hikes.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 70 kilometers away, is the nearest airport for Portimão.

Rental conditions

Conditions
The rental price includes the use of water, electricity, heating/air conditioning and use of WiFi internet.

Deposit
Payment of deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 300 euros. This will be returned upon departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, and additional payment will also be required for any damage that may have occurred.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and directions. The reservation is only final after a deposit of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the aforementioned deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
If the rental agreement is canceled by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rental price
b. in case of cancellation from 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 2 p.m. and must leave the casa before 11 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the casa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) accept no liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around Casa Meio caused by any circumstances whatsoever.

Other
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance. The host/hostess will be present upon arrival to welcome you.
