About Quinta Avos l Lovely place with beautiful view

Quinta Avos is a former farmhouse that was converted into a luxury holiday residence in 2012 while retaining original details. The finish and furnishings are of the highest level. Divided over two levels, Quinta Avos has four bedrooms with private bathroom, guest toilet, a well-equipped kitchen, sitting room with flat screen TV and fireplace, large covered terrace with wooden sun loungers and a spacious garden with swimming pool and barbecue. The two bedrooms on the first floor have a large and sunny terrace with beautiful sea views.

The quinta is a stone's throw from the traditional Portuguese village of Cumeada, just a ten minute drive from historic Silves and seven minutes from the city of Messines with its lively market. Silves is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful towns in the Algarve. It is teeming with sights, nice shops and cozy bars, restaurants and terraces. The invariably well-attended Medieval Festival is held in August.

The nearest beach is in Armacao da Pera, about twenty minutes by car from the quinta. This elongated white sandy beach is richly provided with bars and restaurants. Other beautiful beaches in the area are those of Ferragudo, Carvoeiro and Praia da Rocha. Lovers of an active holiday can enjoy snorkelling, diving, sailing, jet skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, tennis and golf in the vicinity of the quinta.

Recommended!

QUINTA AVOS IS PERFECT!
Nicely but privately situated with the main road at appr. 500 mtrs, and some sea view as an extra bonus present. It can easily accomodate 8 people, we were there with four, two kids and we as parents. Nothing to complain about, it was clean, well equipped and decorated, peaceful and relaxed. Plenty of room in the house itself, as well as garden and fenced driveway.
The pool was excellent, with enough sunbeds to chill, enjoy the sun and wheather. At a relative short distance, Silves is a nice town to go out for dinner. Beaches of Ferragudo and surrounding places are nearby for an experience other than laying beside the pool. Warm welcome by the local staff, with a some basic groceries (including wine and beers!) were there for our first hours of laziness. Recommended!

Equipped with all the facilities you can think of!

We had a wonderful week in Quinta Avos with our children and first grandchild. Especially the large terrace and the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom make the house very pleasant to stay in. The renovation and furnishing of the house and garden has been done with a great sense of taste, so that you will soon feel at home. The view during breakfast and dinner is truly sublime! The location in the Algarve is such that you can reach all the beautiful places within an hour's drive. In our opinion, a must for anyone looking for a cosy, not too large family home, equipped with all the facilities you can think of!

Highly recommended for peace, beauty, facilities, views and privacy

For the second time we have been able to visit villa Quinta Avos. Last year we were already enthusiastic and this year 2015 we also enjoyed the exceptionally good weather, the hospitality and the welcome and accommodation. We have lacked for nothing. Everything was in good order and neat. Beautiful view from the veranda and the veranda offered delicious refreshment in between while eating and drinking. We have been able to enjoy the sun-heated swimming pool intensively and the garden was beautifully cared for. The privacy was absolutely great and the site is completely closed off. The owner surprised us with baskets of delicious Portuguese oranges and lemons. Where else can you find this?! It will certainly not be our last visit. Highly recommended for peace, beauty, facilities, views and privacy.

Cumeada, located in the south of Portugal in the Beja province, is a rustic village nestled in an enchanting landscape of rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards. Locally, Cumeada offers some convenient amenities, including local shops for daily groceries and cozy dining establishments serving traditional Portuguese dishes. For a wider range of shopping, you can visit the nearby town of Beja, which is approximately 12 kilometers away.

The surroundings of Cumeada are steeped in history, with historical monuments such as the Menhir of Albernoa and the impressive Castelo de Beja (12 km), providing valuable insights into regional history. For nature enthusiasts and hikers, the Parque Natural do Vale do Guadiana, located about 30 kilometers along the Guadiana River, offers a beautiful environment filled with natural beauty.

Traveling to Cumeada is easy thanks to the proximity of Beja International Airport, approximately 25 kilometers south of the village.

Rental conditions

Requirements
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, water and electricity (including the washing of bed linen, etc., maintenance of the swimming pool and garden). Not included is the use of wood for the fireplace. The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of people. During your stay visitors stay overnight, there are costs involved, please report this to the owner on arrival or during your stay.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 50% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount must be paid, including a deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only final after a 50% deposit.

Deposit
If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account within 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of any damage incurred will be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the down payment;
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa. In case of a late evening arrival (after 9 pm), € 50 will be charged, this must be paid in cash to the hostess on the spot.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around the Quinta caused by whatever circumstances.
