Paderne is a small old village in the hills above Albufeira. The village has an old small core. Around the church are some small streets and beautiful old houses. In front of the church is an old water source. The village has existed since the 16th century and owes its existence mainly to the nearby castle. The old Renaissance church is the center of the village.
