Luxurious, idyllically located holiday home with a beautiful patio garden with an old restored bread oven and a small private swimming pool. Casa Cidro, can accommodate 4 people, is located in the Algarve countryside, in Estrela Montes, near the picturesque Boliqueime. Its south-facing position, overlooking the vast fields full of almond, orange, carob and olive trees.

Casa Cidro is a recently completely stylishly renovated semi-detached holiday home for 4 people. The accommodation consists of a living room with a fully equipped open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a separate bathroom. There is a lovely sunny eucalyptus covered terrace from which steps lead down to the lower garden, with an authentic restored bread oven and a small private swimming pool, overlooking an orchard with olive, almond and orange trees.

The modern and bright decor provides a welcoming environment for a relaxing holiday in the Algarve. There is a wide screen TV. The living area and bedrooms have air conditioning and there is underfloor heating throughout the house. There is of course also a wireless internet connection. The handmade kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, induction hob, combi microwave and Nespresso machine. The patio doors provide access to the terrace with the original wood oven and the swimming pool. The stylish decor, wooden ceilings and tiled floors make the rooms very attractive.

Casa Cidro is located on a quiet, paved country road. The stone wall gives a hacienda feeling and offers a lot of privacy. The south-facing garden has a small private swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas and overlooks an orchard, green valley with beautiful sea views in the distance.

On the terrace near the wood-burning oven there is a dining table for long evenings to dine and enjoy delicious fish grilled on the barbecue. On the higher terrace you can relax in the shade on warm days under the eucalyptus covered terrace.

Boliqueime is a hidden gem of the Algarve. The central location in the beautiful hinterland, away from the crowds and mass tourism, offers the opportunity to discover the real Portuguese life and yet the airport, the larger cities in the area, shopping centers and the beach can be reached within a maximum of 30 minutes by car.
The house is located in the countryside, in the Estrela Montes area, a 10-minute drive from Boliqueime, where you will find a bank, pharmacy, supermarket and a number of restaurants. Loulé, with its beautiful covered vegetable, fruit and fish market, is a 20-minute drive away. On Saturday mornings there is a farmers market around the market building which is worth checking out.

We hebben met ons gezin een fantastische tijd gehad in Casa Cidro. Het prachtig gebouwde huis ligt heerlijk rustig en ondanks dat het tussen 2 huizen in ligt heb je 100% privacy. Vanuit Boliqueime rijd je namelijk naar het strand en leuke stadjes in de omgeving. Absolute aanrader!

Algarve - Boliqueime

The small town of Boliqueime, situated in the heart of the Algarve, is ideal if you want to explore various Portuguese villages and cities or visit one of the many beaches. In this village, you will find small cobbled streets, a white church, and charming restaurants and bars.

On the coast, you will discover picture-perfect beaches with impressive rock formations, caves, and cliffs. There are many lovely beaches and coves in the immediate vicinity, separated by rocks but connected by coastal paths.

There are beautiful places along the coast that are definitely worth a visit, such as Loulé (13 km), a historic town with cozy streets lined with boutique shops, delightful restaurants, and a massive market hall filled with fresh produce. Also, Olhão (37 km), a small fishing village, is definitely worth a visit.

Faro Airport is a 30-minute drive away. Within a 40-minute drive is the protected natural area of Ria Formosa, a 60-kilometer-long lagoon with a maze of islands, white beaches, and dunes featuring native plants and wildlife. Here, you can not only enjoy excellent hiking but also spot animals or go for a bike ride.

Additionally, there are spectacular beaches and coves where you can often enjoy the view all by yourself.

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, air conditioning, water and electricity (including washing bed linen, etc., maintenance of the pool and garden). The use of the heating (warm air conditioning) is not included). Casa Cido is a non-smoking villa, we would like to keep it that way, so no smoking in the villa, no pets, no (loud) music outside on the terrace. We do not rent to groups under 25 years of age. The house is calculated on the indicated number of people.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount must be paid, including a deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only final after payment of 30%.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 30% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros.
If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account after 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of damage incurred will be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rent
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around Quinta Cido caused by whatever circumstances.
