Wine tours

A wine tour in the Algarve is a great way to learn more about the region's wine culture. The Algarve has a rich wine culture and produces a wide range of wines. During a wine tour you will visit the winery and taste different wines. A relaxed and fun way to learn more about the wine culture, enjoy the scenery and be surprised by the wines.

Tours & prices

• Quinta tour & wine tasting (€45 p.p.)
  Duration: approx. 2 hours
  A brief introduction of the history of the Quinta dos Sentidos. A walk through the vineyards, fruit and flower gardens, olive groves and a stop at the lake.

• Winery tour + wine tasting (€45 p.p.)
  Duration: approx. - 2 hours
  A brief introduction of the history and layout of the Quinta dos Sentidos followed by a tour of the winery with explanations of the production of wine, olive oil and verjus.

• Vip experience - Tour of the five senses + wine tasting (€100,- p.p.)
  visiting the vineyards, olive groves, fruit & flower gardens and enjoying a glass of wine at the lake, getting a behind the scenes insight into our winemaking including a barrel tasting of our future wines, crowned by an extensive tasting of our wines, olive oils and verjus with tapas and tales of life at the Quinta in the shaded ' eira' next to the vineyards - and a 10% voucher on any purchases during the visit. approx. 3 hours

Wine tasting

A tasting of 4 wines (usually 1 white, 2 red, 1 late harvest). Three olive oils served with bread and finally the verjus.

Conditions

• No charge for children under 16. Only at the Vip experience kids from 6 - 16 years pay €15,-
• The tour(s) will be conducted by ourselves, the owners or oenologist.
• The Winery tour can be done with a wheelchair or stroller.
• Tour times are either mornings with a start no later than 10am or afternoons with a start around 1pm or 3pm.
• As far as we can, we try to be flexible to guests' wishes.
• Tours must be by appointment. Date and time are fixed when the tour is agreed.
• We operate year-round, from Monday to Friday. Preferably not on weekends or local holidays, but exceptions can be made by special request, except in July and January.
• Tours can be offered in English, German, French, Danish, Portuguese. In January and July only in English and Portuguese.
• Cancellations can be made up to 7 days before the agreed date.
• Later cancellation or no-shows will be charged.
• We can also arrange a taxi transfer :-)
