About Casa Maravilha | Comfortable stay in traditional resort style with sea views

Traditional Portuguese bungalow style villa in a quiet part of the resort. The spacious roof terrace, partly covered by an awning, offers a fantastic view of the sea. The villa is surrounded by a well-kept garden with palm trees and lawns. The exclusive Praia do Carvalho beach is just a few hundred meters away. An ideal holiday home with lots of privacy.

A fully fenced property with an entrance gate and ample parking. Four covered terraces provide the perfect place to relax and dine, all with enchanting views of the garden and pool. A barbecue in the garden, while the spacious roof terrace (75 m2) treats you to spectacular sea views in three different directions. The heated swimming pool, 9 by 5 meters in size and equipped with night lighting, is accessible via a staircase to the shallow end. Please note that there are additional charges for pool heating.

Inside you will find three modern bedrooms, all with access to the garden and equipped with air conditioning and electric heaters. There are also three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite, in addition to a well-connected kitchen. The comfortably furnished living-dining room offers comfort with a fireplace and entertainment via a flat screen satellite TV with international channels, DVD and WiFi.

Algarve Clube Atlântico is a peaceful villa and apartment resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. In the heart of the resort you will find the reception, the restaurant and the common area with a swimming pool, children's playground, mini golf and tennis courts. This exclusive resort is within walking distance of Praia do Carvalho beach and just a short drive from the deserted village of Carvoeiro.

We would love to return!

We had an amazing time at Casa Maravilha. A very beautiful, spacious house with everything you could need. Every day we enjoyed both the sunrise and the sunset, which was truly special. We chose a heated pool, and the kids were able to swim comfortably in December. The location is absolutely perfect, and the house is cleaned twice a week. We would love to return! A big 10 also for Tom's service, who is always thinking ahead and offering solutions.

Algarve - Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro began as a fishing village and has thus retained its traditional charm. The name "Carvoeiro" comes from the Portuguese word "carvão" (coal), referring to fishermen who used charcoal to smoke fish.

Within a short distance, you will find supermarkets such as Pingo Doce and Intermarché (within 2 km), numerous restaurants, and bars in the village center. Praia de Carvoeiro is a beautiful beach just 500 meters from the village center. Another alternative is Algar Seco: a unique rock formation with caves and natural pools, only 1 km away. Fort of São João do Arade is a historic fort from the 17th century, located 3 km away.

Additionally, enjoy the natural areas of Carvoeiro, such as the "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina," a protected natural reserve about 50 km away with pristine beaches and coastal hiking trails. Another beautiful park is the "Parque Natural da Ria Formosa," a natural reserve with lagoons and islands located about 60 km away.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Carvoeiro.

Rental conditions

Rental Conditions
The rental price includes the use of water, air conditioning, electricity, WiFi, final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise) and maintenance of the swimming pool and garden. The rental price does not include the use of central heating, pool heating, or electricity during the winter months. The rental price is calculated for a maximum of 6 people.

Deposit
A deposit of €500 is required before arrival, along with the second deposit of 30%. This deposit will be refunded upon departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of the deposit may be withheld, and additional payment for any incurred damage will also be required.

Payment
When booking, you will receive the rental contract, confirmation, and directions. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rental fee. The remaining amount, including the deposit mentioned above, must be paid 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Tourist Tax
Guests aged 13 or older will be charged for up to a maximum of seven consecutive nights. These costs can be paid at the park reception during check-in. The following fees apply:
- Low season (November 1 to March 31): 1 euro per night per person
- High season (April 1 to October 31): 2 euros per night per person

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:
a. If canceled up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.
b. If canceled less than 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure
You can check into the accommodation after 4:00 PM and must check out before 10:00 AM to allow for cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability
Portugalvillas/landlord(s) accept no liability for the consequences of any accidents during your stay in Portugal, in and around the accommodation, caused by any circumstances whatsoever.
