Casa Silves l Beautifully situated with unique views

We very much enjoyed a family get together in the Villa which had all the necessary facilities. It is as the photos show it. Quite remote for taxis & Ubers But close enough to Silves for shopping & restaurants.

Mooie rustige locatie midden in de natuur! Wij komen al 35 jaar in de Algarve, voor het eerst in Silves. Locatie is ruim, mooie patio en uitzicht fantastisch! Goede keuken, alleen t water (borehole) is erg zout, wat je aan de afwas ziet! Nieuwe oven is top, alleen kan je niet oven én kookplaat gebruiken want dan knalt de aardlek eruit! Zwembad is OK, alleen houten vlonder word gloeiend heet in de zomer. Vonden wij eigenlijk de minst goede investering in het huis. Slaapkamers prima, kan meer bergruimte gebruiken voor de kleding! Bovenste kamer is erg rumoerig wat betreft het geluid uit de woonkamer en hal! Badkamers prima, zou boven een spiegel ophangen ipv een heksenspiegeltje! Schoonmaak top! 2 x per week schone badlakens en 1 x per week schoon bedlinnen! Al met al mooie locatie! Tom en Sylvia dank voor jullie ontvangst en service!

Prachtig huis, met geweldig uitzicht. Heerlijke rustige ligging, maar toch in de buurt van alle faciliteiten. Wij hebben genoten van de diverse terrassen, het zwembad en de tafeltennis tafel. Daarnaast was het huis ook nog eens van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij hopen in de toekomst nog eens terug te kunnen komen.

Wunderschönes Haus! Sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet! Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb von Silves mitten in der Natur. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a very nice holiday with our family in a beautiful and spacious house at a perfect location with a splendid view! We were warmliy welcomed in a clean house with made beds. We hope to come back in the future!

Met kinderen en kleinkinderen hebben wij een geweldig fijne vakantie gehad in een zeer mooi, ruim en comfortabel vakantiehuis op een prachtige locatie met een weids uitzicht over de de omgeving en de rivier de Arade. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk welkom geheten door een vriendelijke mevrouw en kregen we duidelijke informatie mbt het huis. De bedden waren opgemaakt, het huis was zeer schoon en van alle inventaris voorzien. Ook de communicatie voorafgaand aan onze vakantie was helder en prettig met snelle antwoorden op vragen. We hopen in de toekomst nog een keer terug te kunnen komen!

Het is een fantastisch huis!

Mooi ingericht, veel ruimte en van het uitzicht krijg je niet genoeg.

We boften met het weer waardoor we ook van het mooie zwembad gebruik konden maken. In de verte zie je een prachtig wijnhuis liggen waar we genoten hebben van een wijnproeverij. ( op loopafstand)

Kortom: een aanrader!

We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad in de villa. Prachtig huis met een adembenemend uitzicht op de rivier de Arade. Verschillende aangename terrassen en prachtig zwembad. Ik zou het sterk aanbevelen.

Wij hebben een week mogen genieten in de prachtige villa in Silves die ook nog eens gevestigd is op een droom locatie. Een hartelijk ontvangst met zelfs al een paar lekkere hapjes in de koelkast. Verder is het huis echt van alle gemakken voorzien en ook de tuin met zwembad en jacuzzi waren helemaal top. Kortom zeker een hele grote aanrader!

Beautiful villa... Even nicer than the photos! We went for a special family holiday and we loved our time here! We were 8 adults and we had plenty of space- 4 large bedrooms all with en suite was perfect for us! The open plan kitchen and entertaining areas were fantastic and the views over the river were stunning! Super clean and comfortable with all the mod cons needed for a relaxing self catered holiday... The hosts were lovely and gave great recommendations for local restaurants etc. We'll definitely come back!

Der Blick ist einfach unglaublich, wir waren jeden Tag aufs Neue geflasht. Als wir ankamen, war der Kühlschrank aufgefüllt, da waren wir positiv überrascht. Wir waren 2 Wochen und es wurde 3x sauber gemacht, absolut top! Ein kleines Manko sind die Duscharmaturen, hier sollte mal entkalkt und auch repariert werden, bei der Dusche im Obergeschoss ließ sich die Temperatur nicht mehr einstellen, war daher viel zu heiss. Ansonsten hatten wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub!

Had a wonderful family holiday at Casa Silves! The house not only has great facilities, but also a beautiful remote location and a beautiful view. Despite its inland location, it is a central base for various excursions. A small point of attention are the level differences (steps and open staircase) in the house, which made it not completely child-proof for a 1.5-year-old toddler. Fortunately, this did not lead to accidents and we had a nice week.

Nice welcome and a lovely, attractive house fully equipped. The view of the river / valley is wonderful. Swimming pool is beautiful, clean and wonderfully refreshing. Super vacation spot!

As a family of four we spent two wonderful weeks in Casa Silves - Okt. 2018.
The Villa is even nicer than you can tell form the pictures. We loved the very spacy terraces with a stunning view on the river and the surrounding hills - bring a Telescope if you like bird spotting. The Interior is very carefully chosen and everything fits perfectly together – nothing that we wanted to change during our stay.
The house is situated very quiet a bit down the Arade River from Silves, that you can reach very comfortably in a few minutes.
Although the house makes you want to stay at the pool an relax, you are just a short drive away from the beaches in the Carvoeiro aria or, if you like hiking,
in the hills of Monchique. We spent countless vacations in Portugal but this is really a special place that we sure will visit again and can recommend without any doubts.

Wir haben für die ersten beiden Septemberwochen 2014 die Villa Casa Silves bei Portugalvillas.nl gebucht und waren sehr gespannt auf die „Quinta“.
Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht und die Bilder auf der Homepage entsprechen absolut der Realität und eigentlich ist das Haus in der Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner.
Auch die Lage ist für Urlauber, die keinen Trubel brauchen optimal gelegen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist praktikabel und lässt (eigentlich) keine Wünsche offen: Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Webergrill, Satellitenfernsehen, Wlan, Alarmanlage, Save, Waschmaschine,… alles vorhanden. Alle 4 Schlafzimmer sind mit einem jeweils dazu passenden separaten Bad individuell eingerichtet. Jedes einzelne Zimmer hat uns super gut gefallen. Durch die moderne und offene Gestaltung, vor allem durch die Glastüren, ist das Haus jedoch sehr hellhörig.
Die Terrasse bietet mehrere gemütliche Sitzbereiche mit Blick auf Pool, Fluss und Landschaft, sowie einem sehr großen Holztisch für 8 bis 10 Personen. Besonderes cool fanden wir den in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnten Jacuzzi aus welchem man ebenfalls einen sehr schönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und zum Fluss hat.
Begrüßt worden sind wir von der holländischen Besitzerin Sylvia, die sehr gut deutsch spricht und somit eine unkomplizierte Einweisung bzw. Abnahme gewährleistet war. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit Getränken und einem leckeren Imbiss gefüllt.
Wir haben uns in der Casa Silves sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir sind uns sehr sicher, dass auch die vielen anderen Ferienhäuser bei Portugalvillas.nl mindestens genauso einzigartig sind.
Wir wünschen allen unbeschreibliche Ferien in Portugal.

Beautiful villa in a lovely spot. Everything has been thought of in the house to ensure that you can enjoy a carefree holiday. The welcome was also very nice and good as well as the cleaning twice a week. In short: definitely recommended and a place we would like to visit again when we are on holiday with two families!
