About Casa Sónoss l Traditional style with modern interior, beautiful garden and zen space

Welcome to our enchanting holiday villa in Vila Nova de Cacela, an ideal retreat for large families or two families who want to enjoy their holidays together. Located just 1.5 km from the famous beach of Cacela Velha and 2.5 km from Fábrica beach, this location offers the best of both worlds: the tranquility of nature and the proximity of all necessary amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacies , health centers, restaurants and banks.

The two traditional architectural houses are both carefully restored and brought completely up to date. The beautiful garden with native trees provides a lush oasis where guests can enjoy the swimming pool, vegetable garden, barbecue area and sauna (available on request at an additional cost). There is a special yoga and meditation room for those looking for peace and reflection.

The interiors of both homes are decorated in a boho-chic style that effortlessly combines traditional charm with modern comforts. Comfort and functionality are paramount, making your stay a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Sonoss. The house is very nice and comfortable. We stayed there with our family and it was truly amazing. The garden is beautiful too! Vila Nova de Cacela is a hidden gem in the eastern Algarve, offering a slower pace of life and a taste of authentic Portugal. Surrounded by countryside and close to some of the region’s most beautiful coastline, it’s a great base for those who love nature, quiet beaches and traditional charm—without being too far from livelier towns.

Closest beaches
The nearby beaches are part of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, known for its unspoiled beauty and calm, shallow waters. Cacela Velha beach is especially scenic, with sweeping views from the clifftop village above. Manta Rota beach is wider and easy to reach, perfect for a relaxing day in the sun or a peaceful sunset walk along the shoreline. Even in summer, this stretch of coast feels uncrowded and natural.

Authentic villages and towns
Just a few minutes away lies the postcard-worthy village of Cacela Velha, where whitewashed houses, cobbled paths and ocean views create a timeless scene. Further west, Tavira is a cultural highlight with its bridges, churches and riverside charm. Inland, villages like Castro Marim bring you closer to rural life, where time moves slower and tradition still shapes the everyday.

Rental conditions

Terms and Conditions  
The rental price includes the use of Wi-Fi, air conditioning, water, and electricity, final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise) and pool and garden maintenance. The use of the sauna and firewood for the fireplace are not included.

Payment  
A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance, including the deposit, must be paid 8 weeks prior to your arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only confirmed once the 30% deposit has been paid.

Security Deposit  
A security deposit is required before arrival. Upon the second payment of 70%, you will be asked to pay a security deposit of €750. If no damage is caused, this deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days after your stay. In case of damage, part or all of the deposit may be withheld, and additional payment may be required to cover the damage.

Cancellation  
In the event of cancellation by the renter(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:  
a. If canceled up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.  
b. If canceled less than 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure  
You may check in to the accommodation after 4:00 PM and must check out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. This is to allow for cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability  
Portugalvillas/landlord(s) accept no liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during your stay in Portugal, particularly inside or around the accommodation, regardless of the circumstances.
