Location & site

Lagoa is located in the central part of the Algarve and is famous for its wine production, especially the "Vinho de Cheiro" produced here. The town has also gained a reputation for its ceramics and pottery, where you can see craftsmen at work in local workshops.

Supermarkets and local shops are easily accessible within the town, and Lagoa offers a variety of dining establishments where you can enjoy both local and international cuisine. Just 5 kilometers away, you will find Praia de Carvoeiro (Carvoeiro Beach), known for its golden sand and clear blue waters. At a distance of approximately 12 kilometers, you can visit the historic town of Silves, characterized by a castle and influences from the Moorish period.

Only 40 kilometers away is the beautiful Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, ideal for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts.
