Townhouse Xonar is a fantastic four-person town house in the middle of the historic town of Silves. Here you can retreat comfortably without losing contact with Silves and its beautiful surroundings. This house is really designed for romance and security.

The city villa was created by merging two existing homes and is now a very luxurious residence with all the necessary amenities for a carefree holiday. Thanks to the multiple terraces, outdoor living is a real experience here. The 360 degree views of the beautiful surroundings are phenomenal. The location of this city villa is also unique. So the best restaurants in Silves and the market are within walking distance.

The interior is beautiful and fully equipped. For example, you have free internet access in all rooms and an iPad is even provided, so you can listen to your favorite music everywhere. When you enter the house, you enter the spacious living room with a luxurious lounge sofa to enjoy a book or the well-known TV channels, and a kitchen with a cozy dining area.

Directly adjacent to the living room is the patio with a heated outdoor pool. On the ground floor there is also a separate toilet and a spacious bedroom with shower and storage space. On the first floor we find another spacious bedroom and a spacious bathroom with double shower. On this level you have access to the first terrace. On the second floor there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and a spacious terrace with outdoor shower. One staircase higher you will find another terrace with a truly magnificent panoramic view of the beautiful surroundings.

Townhouse Xonar is a perfect destination for smaller groups who want to go out during the day to discover all the beauty in the immediate vicinity, and then enjoy the terraces of Stadsvilla Xonar in the evenings with a good glass of wine in hand. setting sun.

Booked again with Tom, what a nice accommodation for a longer stay. Upon entering it is a house that immediately feels like home. Due to the Corona crisis that also reigns in Portugal, we cooked a lot at home and this was fine. You can also take excellent walks from this accommodation to the hinterland of Silves. For golfers, an excellent base for various beautiful and challenging courses, such as the courses of the Pestana Group such as Silves. Furthermore, Morgado, Alamos, Palmares, Espiche and Boavista are a short distance away. In short, Silves location suited us just fine.

Algarve - Silves

Silves is centrally located in the Algarve, approximately 16 kilometers inland from the coast. This convenient location makes it an excellent base for exploring both the inland and coastal areas of the region. Silves was once the capital of the Moorish province of Algarve and was known as "Xelb" during that time.

Within Silves itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and local shops to meet all your needs. In addition to supermarkets, Silves also offers various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine.

For fascinating Moorish history, you can visit the medieval castle within the center of Silves. Silves Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.

For more architecture, you can visit the "Cathedral of Silves" (Sé Catedral de Silves) within further walking distance. The Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia) offers more history and remains of Silves.

In addition to exploring the rich culture, you can, of course, unwind in natural areas such as Serra de Monchique and Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. Serra de Monchique is a beautiful mountainous area located about 30 kilometers from Silves and offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Parque Natural da Ria Formosa is a natural reserve with lagoons, islands, and various bird species, located approximately 70 kilometers from Silves.

The international airport of Faro, situated approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Silves.

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, water and electricity (including the washing of bed linen, etc). Not included is the use of the heating. And wood for the fireplace.
The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, costs are involved. Please report this to the owner upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% is required. The remaining amount must be paid together with the deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only final after payment of 30%.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 300 euros. If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account within 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment of any damage incurred will be required.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the rent
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal and in particular in and around Stadsvilla Casa Silves caused by whatever circumstances.
