Welcome to Country House Almancil, an idyllic holiday home located in the sun-drenched south of Portugal. This charming property, originally built in 1811, has been recently renovated with great attention to detail and comfort. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, while being only a 15-minute drive from the finest beaches and historic cities like Faro and Loulé. The Quinta is also close to the beautiful Rio Formosa National Park, a paradise for nature lovers.

This detached holiday home offers complete privacy and features a large private pool, perfect for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. Country House Almancil blends authentic Portuguese architecture with a warm, stylish interior. You will appreciate the cozy farmhouse style, with wooden ceiling beams, white walls, and terracotta floors, tastefully decorated with luxury furniture and accessories from brands like HKliving and Senza.

The property is entirely on one level and offers comfortable amenities such as air conditioning in the bedrooms and luxury beds with high-quality bedding. The cozy lounge, complete with a fireplace and television, is a perfect spot to relax. In the open kitchen, equipped with a light blue SMEG fridge and dining area, you can prepare delicious meals together.

With three spacious bedrooms and three stylish bathrooms, the house accommodates up to 8 people. The master bedroom features a unique loft, ideal for (older) children. All bedrooms have access to the garden and are equipped with mosquito screens and spacious wardrobes. Two of the bathrooms are en-suite and have a modern, sleek finish with polished concrete walls, walk-in showers, and sinks. The master bedroom's bathroom even includes a bathtub.

Surrounding the holiday home is a beautiful, expansive garden with ancient trees, fragrant jasmine shrubs, roses, and fruit trees. The large pool (12x6 meters) invites refreshing swims and relaxation on the comfortable loungers with parasols. Outdoors, you can enjoy al-fresco dining at the BBQ (Beefeater) dining table, or unwind in the lounge set around the outdoor firepit. Children can have fun on the sports field with a trampoline and volleyball net.

One of the unique features of Country House Almancil is the Zen House, a serene space for yoga, meditation, and massages. The owner, a professional masseuse, offers relaxing treatments and yoga or meditation classes upon request. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to pick fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden and receive personal tips from the owners for fun local activities, such as stand-up paddling, restaurants, and hidden beaches.

The location of Country House Almancil is perfect: peaceful and secluded in the countryside, yet everything is within reach. The beautiful beaches are just a 15-minute drive away, the charming village of Almancil is around the corner, and the historic cities of Faro and Loulé are only 10 minutes away. Plus, Faro Airport is just a 15-minute drive, making the property easily accessible.

Algarve - Almancil

Almancil is ideaal; 15 minuten rijden naar mooie stranden, 10 minuten naar historische steden als Faro en Loule zeer dicht bij het Rio de Formosa National Park.

Het dorp Almancil ligt ten oosten van Faro vindt u een wat authentieker deel van de Algarve. Hier vindt u bijvoorbeeld de stadjes Olhao en Tavira. Naast de stranden die ten zuiden van Almancil liggen op 15 minuten rijden afstand is het ook de moeite waard om iets verder te rijden. Op een half uur rijden vertrekt de ferry naar eilanden. De eilanden Ilha da Colatra en Ilha da Armona zijn het hele jaar door bereikbaar. De boottocht duurt ongeveer een half uur en brengt u naar prachtige stranden, zonder de toerisme massa die u in de Algarve gewend bent. Op een eiland staat een restaurantje.

Nabij Amancil ligt het Reserva Natural da Ria Formosa. Dit is een beschermd gebied, waar u fantastisch kunt wandelen en bijzondere vogels kunt spotten. In een straal van een kwartier rijden vindt u goede golfbanen. Faro airport ligt op een kwartier rijden afstand.

Rental conditions

Terms and Conditions
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, air conditioning, water, and electricity (including the washing of bed linens, etc., as well as pool and garden maintenance). Long stays and winter rentals are subject to separate rental prices and terms by agreement.

Payment
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance, along with the security deposit, must be paid 8 weeks before arrival. The reservation is only confirmed after the 30% deposit has been received.

Security Deposit
A security deposit of €300 is required upon arrival. If no damage is caused during your stay, the deposit will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days. In case of damage, a part or the whole deposit may be withheld, or additional payment may be requested for the incurred damage.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation by the tenant(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:
a. Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental amount.
b. Cancellation within 8 weeks of the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure
You may check into the villa after 16:00. The villa must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure, to allow for cleaning.

Liability
Portugalvillas/landlord(s) accept no liability for any accidents or other incidents during your stay in Portugal, particularly in and around the house, caused by any circumstances whatsoever.

Other
We advise you to take out a comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance policy. By signing, booking, and making the subsequent payment of the rental price, you agree to the above terms and conditions.
