Welcome to Ampersand Residence, where every corner is a canvas and every room a masterpiece. Immerse yourself in a curated mix of art and living, where creativity and comfort come together. Our carefully designed spaces are a celebration of artistic expression, making Ampersand Residence a unique retreat for those with an appreciation for aesthetics.

The Ampersand Residence is a townhouse in the city of Portimão in the Algarve in southern Portugal. You can walk to restaurants and cafes in the historic center (5 minutes) and the beach is nearby. The harbor is only a moderate distance away, here you can book a tour along the coastline to beautiful bays and caves and enjoy a drink on the terrace.

The six bedrooms are all equipped with comfortable beds, air conditioning, fans, shutters to make your room nice and dark and even lighting that you can change color to your own taste. The two kitchens are fully equipped so you can enjoy cooking.

Layout 500 m2:

Ground floor:
● Art studio with spacious and elegant living room
● a well-equipped kitchen with dining table
● upstairs bedroom with 2 double beds and ensuite bathroom
● Through a hall you reach a fairytale outdoor area with private swimming pool (2.5 x 11 meters), outdoor shower, dining tables and outdoor cooking facilities. This space is reminiscent of a riad in Marrakech with its lush plants, cacti and contrasting pink walls.
● An indoor or outdoor staircase leads you to the upper floor
Top floor:
● five bedrooms, four of which have a double bed and one with two single beds. Each room has light that you can adjust to your mood. There is also a hammam bathrobe ready for you.
● each room has a silent disco... bluetooth headphones for your music. Listen to your own music undisturbed.
● two bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and care products
● extra separate toilet
● fully equipped kitchen with dining table
● television room
● spacious roof terrace with large covered lounge, dining table, sun beds, large American BBQ (gas), sink
Additionally:
● Sonos music system
● special features; beach bags, toiletries, beach towels, hammam bathrobes, silent disco headphones, beautiful tableware and of course lots of art!

Amazing!

A fantastic, stylish place with all the amenities. A home with amazing design, spacious, and two fully equipped kitchens. Bedrooms with very comfortable beds. A pool and two beautiful patios allow you to relax. Close to a supermarket. Parking right by the house. Business trip. Despite having 8 people, everyone had their own privacy. I highly recommend it. Excellent communication with the owner.

Surprising house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and the service from Portugal Villas. We stayed in the very surprising house De Ampersand Residence in Portimão. On the outside you think: 'where will I end up?' but inside it exceeds all your expectations. What spaces! We stayed with 12 people, but we never had the feeling that we were on each other's lips. Beautiful house.

Really fantastic

Communication was smooth and easy! Villa was really fantastic and exactly as in the pictures. Villa was fully equipped, really everything you need was there. Host was easily accessible for questions and we had a wonderful carefree holiday!

Location & site

Algarve - Portimão

Portimão, located on the Algarve coast, has a rich maritime history and was once an important fishing port. It is conveniently situated at the mouth of the Arade River, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

In Portimão itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and shopping centers, including Continente and Aqua Portimão, which provide everything you need. The city is known for its excellent dining options, with seafood restaurants along the harbor and traditional Portuguese taverns. Tip: Portimão is renowned for its delicious sweets, including "morgadinhos" and "dom Rodrigos," which you should definitely try during your visit.

For golden sands and large cliffs, visit Praia da Rocha, this famous beach is just a few kilometers from the city center. Forte da Santa Catarina is a historic fort on Praia da Rocha beach, just 3 kilometers away. For a cultural outing, visit the Museu de Portimão: This museum, located less than 2 kilometers from the city center, tells the story of the city and its maritime history.

Nature lovers and hikers can embark on an adventure in Serra de Monchique: a mountainous area about 30 kilometers away. Another protected natural area is Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina: This protected natural reserve, approximately 50 kilometers west of Portimão, offers vast pristine beaches and stunning cliffside hikes.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 70 kilometers away, is the nearest airport for Portimão.

Rental conditions

Conditions
The rental price includes the use of air conditioning, water, electricity and the use of WiFi internet. (Incl. washing bed linen, etc., maintenance of the swimming pool, and garden). The landlord takes into account the specified number of people.

Deposit
Payment deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 1.000,- euros. This will be returned within 8 working days upon departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of the damage may be withheld, and additional payment of any damage incurred is also required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and route description. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rent
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around the accommodation caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance. On arrival, the host/wife is present for reception.
