Villa Laranja, beautifully located in the green hillside landscape surrounding the historic town of Silves, is a modern and extremely comfortable holiday home. With two suites, three bedrooms, and five bathrooms, it can accommodate groups of up to ten people. The total living area of the villa, which consists of two separate buildings, is a generous 300 m².

Thanks to its enclosed and lush garden, filled with fruit trees, Villa Laranja offers its guests complete privacy. The view of the green hills and the town of Silves is simply spectacular. The location is wonderfully peaceful, yet you have a variety of amenities within easy reach. Whether you want to visit the charming town of Silves, play a round of golf at some of the Algarve's best courses, or spend a day sunbathing at one of the beautiful beaches, it’s just a short drive away. Faro Airport is a 45-minute drive.

Villa Laranja is sleek yet incredibly atmospheric in its design, and truly equipped with every comfort. Among the amenities, you have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, a smart TV, a Blu-ray player, a safe, and an alarm system. In addition to the spacious open kitchen, which is fitted with all conceivable high-quality appliances, the villa also features a generous outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, refrigerator, sink, and a cozy dining table. On the terrace around the modern heated pool, you can relax in luxury thanks to the comfortable sun loungers and lounge furniture. Here, you can also enjoy the outdoor shower and jacuzzi, complete with a large sun deck.

Amazing sunset!

The villa was absolutely beautiful, pristine and had everything we could have wanted. Very spacious, great for a group of 10. Amazing sunsets. Location is remote - ideal for those who want to get away from it all.

Stunning!

Incredibly beautiful villa in an amazing location with stunning views. Easy access by car to beaches, water parks, and large cities. Every bedroom is fantastic, the villa is very clean and well-designed/decorated. The pool, outdoor BBQ, and terrace were a highlight. I would 100% recommend it.

The gate to heaven!

In May of this year we went to Villa Laranja with friends and our 2 children. We had been to Tom's villa before and had full confidence in it. He had already said that the road to it would look like you were wrong, well indeed, we certainly doubted. Until we saw a large white entrance gate at the end of the bumpy road. The gate to heaven! After entering you will continue to be amazed by the luxury and the many bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything here is taken care of down to the last detail. The bedding to the excess of hands. There is nothing lacking here. And as always the fridge and the fruit basket filled with the first refreshments. After the great journey of discovery in the house, we still have the country house. Two separate poolside rooms with phenomenal mountain views. This house has been set so beautifully on the lot that you can wake up every morning to the birds and the sound of nothing! Then there is the orchard that belongs to the house. A short walk around the house and you have the tastiest mandarins and lemons from your own garden. This house is a house to never leave. It has everything to return to the Netherlands completely relaxed (if this still succeeds after this wealth of luxury) Tom thank you very much for this house in your collection, we will definitely be back.

Most complete and luxious villa we have ever stayed

Dear Tom, with four friends and 3 children in total we stayed in the luxury Villa Laranja. This design villa with 5 beautiful bed rooms has a beautiful architecture and is the most complete and luxious villa we have ever stayed. It is located near Silves, a charming little city, in the middle of the orange orchard and you really have a stunning view over the orchard and the castle of Silves in the distance. We have used the gas bbq in the outside kitchen a lot, just like the swimming pool. From the Villa, you drive in about 10 minutes to Silves and in about 25 minutes to the beautiful beach of Praia Marinha (where you can also make a beautiful walk alongside the coast).
The Villa has everything you need and is really a lust for the eye. For colder evenings you can sit comfortable at the fireplace in the living room.
We had a great holiday and we hope to return, if it is not in Villa Laranja then in one of the other Villas!

Algarve - Silves

Silves is centrally located in the Algarve, approximately 16 kilometers inland from the coast. This convenient location makes it an excellent base for exploring both the inland and coastal areas of the region. Silves was once the capital of the Moorish province of Algarve and was known as "Xelb" during that time.

Within Silves itself, there are plenty of supermarkets and local shops to meet all your needs. In addition to supermarkets, Silves also offers various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy delicious Portuguese cuisine.

For fascinating Moorish history, you can visit the medieval castle within the center of Silves. Silves Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the Algarve and has a rich history dating back to the 8th century.

For more architecture, you can visit the "Cathedral of Silves" (Sé Catedral de Silves) within further walking distance. The Archaeological Museum (Museu Municipal de Arqueologia) offers more history and remains of Silves.

In addition to exploring the rich culture, you can, of course, unwind in natural areas such as Serra de Monchique and Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. Serra de Monchique is a beautiful mountainous area located about 30 kilometers from Silves and offers excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Parque Natural da Ria Formosa is a natural reserve with lagoons, islands, and various bird species, located approximately 70 kilometers from Silves.

The international airport of Faro, situated approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Silves.

Rental conditions

Terms and Conditions
The rental price includes the use of Wi-Fi, air conditioning, water, gas, and electricity, as well as the changing of bath towels (twice a week), bed linens (once a week), pool and garden maintenance, and final cleaning (unless agreed otherwise). The rental price is based on the specified number of guests. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, additional charges will apply. Please inform the host of this upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance, including the security deposit, must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival in Portugal. The reservation is only confirmed after the 30% deposit is paid.

Security Deposit
The security deposit is €1.500. This will be refunded to your bank account within 7 days after your stay, provided no damage has been caused. In case of damage, part or all of the deposit may be withheld, and additional payment may be required for any damages incurred.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the renter(s), the following cancellation fees will apply:
a. If canceled up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.
b. If canceled less than 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and Departure
You may check in to the accommodation after 4:00 PM and must check out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. This is to allow for cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability
Portugalvillas/landlord(s) accept no liability for any accidents or incidents that may occur during your stay in Portugal, particularly inside or around the accommodation, regardless of the circumstances.
