Villa Sol is a beautiful family villa, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa features three comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, a jacuzzi, and a large heated swimming pool (5.0m x 12.5m) with a jet stream (heating available at an additional cost). For extra fun, there is also a trampoline. Situated on a spacious 1,600 m² plot, this villa offers plenty of space and privacy.

Completely renovated in 2022, Villa Sol is equipped with all modern comforts. Soak up the Portuguese sun on one of the sun loungers on the spacious terrace or find shade in the beautifully landscaped garden, filled with lush greenery and stunning trees. The lovely covered dining area with a large table is perfect for enjoying long summer evenings.

With underfloor heating throughout, Villa Sol is not only a great summer retreat but also an ideal winter getaway. The villa is perfectly located, just 1 km from the beach and the charming center of Carvoeiro.

Location & site

Algarve - Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro began as a fishing village and has thus retained its traditional charm. The name "Carvoeiro" comes from the Portuguese word "carvão" (coal), referring to fishermen who used charcoal to smoke fish.

Within a short distance, you will find supermarkets such as Pingo Doce and Intermarché (within 2 km), numerous restaurants, and bars in the village center. Praia de Carvoeiro is a beautiful beach just 500 meters from the village center. Another alternative is Algar Seco: a unique rock formation with caves and natural pools, only 1 km away. Fort of São João do Arade is a historic fort from the 17th century, located 3 km away.

Additionally, enjoy the natural areas of Carvoeiro, such as the "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina," a protected natural reserve about 50 km away with pristine beaches and coastal hiking trails. Another beautiful park is the "Parque Natural da Ria Formosa," a natural reserve with lagoons and islands located about 60 km away.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Carvoeiro.

Rental conditions

Requirements
The rental price includes the use of water, electricity and use of WiFi internet (including washing of bed linen, etc., maintenance of the swimming pool and garden).

Deposit
Payment of the deposit before arrival, with the 2nd down payment of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros. This will be returned on departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, and additional payment of any damage incurred is also required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Tourist tax
Up to a maximum of seven nights, all guests 13 years or older will be charged. The following costs will be charged:
- Low season, November 1 to March 31: 1 euro per night per person
- High season, April 1 to October 31: 2 euros per night per person
Please note: the tourist tax is not counted during your reservation request. After your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an invoice in which the tourist tax is included in the total rental amount. This is stated separately on the invoice.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. If canceled up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the rental fee.
b. If canceled less than 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must leave the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around the villa caused by whatever circumstances.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance. Upon arrival, the host will be present for reception.
