About Villa Tareja l Located in the hills with spectacular unobstructed views of the mountains

Villa Tareja offers luxury, peace, and space, set in the hills just behind the town of São Brás de Alportel. From the living room and terrace, you can enjoy sweeping views of the impressive Serra do Caldeirão mountains, a panorama that never fails to impress.

The villa features three spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The large kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. In the generous hallway, there is a separate toilet with washbasin. The 50 m² living room includes a separate dining and sitting area, with the sitting room standing out thanks to its 3.5-metre-high ceiling and pellet stove. Three sliding doors lead to the 30 m² terrace, which connects to the 37 m² sundeck. Here you will find the heated infinity pool, a striking centerpiece of the outdoor area that blends seamlessly with the mountain views. All bedrooms and the living room are equipped with air conditioning for cooling, heating, and air purification. The villa also offers free Wi-Fi, a Sonos sound system, and satellite TV with all Dutch channels.

The outdoor spaces are designed to make the most of the Algarve climate. The terrace features a comfortable lounge area and a large dining table with wicker chairs. On the sundeck by the infinity pool, teak loungers with soft cushions invite you to relax in the sun. Surrounded by olive trees, fig trees, and oleanders, the villa ensures complete privacy.


Villa Tareja is located directly on the Via Algarviana, the official hiking route that runs across the Algarve, and borders the natural area of Fonte da Tareja. This setting is ideal for walking, running, or mountain biking. It is the perfect choice for those seeking peace and privacy, yet still wanting amenities and attractions within easy reach. The historic center of São Brás and several supermarkets are just a five-minute drive away. Faro Airport, the beaches of Olhão and Tavira, and some of Europe’s finest golf courses can all be reached within 25 minutes.

Just back from an amazing holiday. Villa Tareja is an absolute recommendation: beautifully located in the hills around Faro (20 km), total peace and quiet! From the lovely pool or the terrace, you can enjoy stunning views at any time of the day. The house is modern and tastefully decorated, equipped with absolutely everything you need. The photos truly reflect the reality. In the surrounding area, you can enjoy great excursions: the coastline, larger cities, and small villages... there's something for everyone, whether you're a nature lover, a hiker, or looking for peace or culture. This house guarantees an unforgettable (sun-drenched) holiday!

The house is truly beautifully located with a fantastic view. Plenty of peace and privacy. The house is fully equipped, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking your own meals. A great base for excursions, with a supermarket just 5 minutes away.

Wir haben nun zum zweiten Mal bei Tom ein Haus gebucht, und wieder mal war es perfekt. Ruhig und wunderschönes gelegenes Haus, mit allem was man braucht und sich wünscht. Ich kann das Haus nur weiter empfehlen. Wer Ruhe braucht und eine schöne Aussicht in die Natur haben will ist hier richtig. Tom ist ein exzellenter und seriöser Vermittler für die von Ihm angebotenen Ferienhäusern, immer erreichbar und hat immer bei eventuellen Problemen eine Lösung. Lovely view

The house is spacious and clean. We were there with our family, including 2 children. There are 3 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The view is stunning! The village with a few restaurants is nearby, and Tavira is a 30-minute drive away. It was a wonderful stay!

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of WiFi, air conditioning, water and electricity (including washing bed linen, etc., maintenance of the swimming pool and garden). Not included is the use of heating (warm air conditioning) and pallets for the pallet stove (can only be used in the winter months).
the accommodation is located in the hills of Sao Bras. Nature reserve Barbecue with coals or open fire is absolutely not allowed. However, an electric barbecue is available upon request. It is a smoke-free accommodation, we would like to keep it that way, so no smoking in the accommodation, no pets, no (loud) music outside on the terrace.
The rental price is calculated on the indicated number of people. If visitors stay overnight during your stay, costs will apply. Please report this to the owner upon arrival or during your stay.

Payment
When booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining amount must be paid, including deposit, 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.
The reservation is only final after a 30% deposit has been paid.

Deposit
Payment of deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros.
If no damage has been caused by you, this will be returned to your bank account after 7 days, or in the event of damage, part or all of it may be withheld, or additional payment for any damage may be required.

Cancellation
If the rental agreement is canceled by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 30% of the total rental price;
b. in case of cancellation from 6 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can enter the villa after 4:00 PM and must leave the villa before 10:00 AM; this is in connection with the cleaning of the accommodation.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay.

Others
We advise you to take out proper travel and cancellation insurance.
