Casa da Tocha, originally a church where women came to ask for a blessing, became a grocery store in the 1950s. In 2015, after a thorough restoration with the support of Turismo de Portugal, it reopened as a restaurant. Today, it is an iconic dining spot in Portimão, known for its delicious Italian and Portuguese dishes, prepared with local ingredients. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the Serra de Monchique, making it the perfect place to enjoy both history and gastronomy.
