NUMA is a combination of the names of the two owners: Nuno Martins (chef) and Manuela João (front-of-house manager), who followed their "family dream" when opening their own dining space. Located along a busy avenue in a residential district, it offers a refined atmosphere, with plenty of wood decor and warm tones that combine to create a welcoming vibe. The cuisine centers around local and Portuguese ingredients, with a contemporary vision reflected in two tasting menus (NUMA and Estação) and an à la carte menu. Be sure to order NUMA’s two signature dishes: the Carabineiro prawns and the sirloin steak.
