About Casa Carvoeiro | Beautiful family villa

This holiday villa, completely restored a few years ago, is located on a walled plot of more than three thousand square meters and is accessible via an impressive driveway with oleanders, palms and olive trees. The beautifully landscaped garden has a large swimming pool with sun terrace, children's pool, tennis court, a wide variety of tropical plants, barbecue, sheltered terrace with pergola, a fountain and a guesthouse. The villa itself can accommodate two to eight people; the guesthouse offers space for another two to four people. The ground floor consists of a spacious living room with anthracite-colored floor tiles, fireplace and patio doors that provide access to the terrace, a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, convection oven and microwave, a master bedroom with bathroom en suite, and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

On the first floor we find a fourth bedroom with private bathroom and access to the roof terrace with stunning sea views. The guesthouse has a spacious sitting/bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. Wireless internet is available throughout the house. Casa Carvoeiro - as Videiras also has a good sound system and satellite TV. Air conditioning, heating and pool heating are optional. The owner appreciates it if there is no smoking in the house. The villa is cleaned twice a week.

This lovely and very well equipped holiday villa is located on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. The cozy center and the beach are only a few minutes by car from the villa. The former fishing village of Carvoeiro has grown over the years into a lively seaside resort with nice shops and plenty of cozy bars and restaurants. The attractive and versatile cities of Albufeira and Portimao are also easily accessible from the villa. Carvoeiro is 55 kilometers from Faro Airport.

Heel fijn verblijf

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het huis! Het heeft een verwarmd zwembad, wat heel fijn is als het buiten wat minder warm is. Een grote keuken met alle gemakken voorzien.

We had a fabulous week at Casa Carvoeiro enjoying great weather. The villa is very well equipped and perfect for a family. We would go off in the mornings to explore and come back after lunch to swim, chill around the pool and play tennis - a perfect holiday for a family.

We really lacked nothing

We had a great holiday at Casa as Videiras. It is a beautiful house with a beautiful garden and a lovely pool! Furthermore, everything is there and the beds are excellent. We really lacked nothing. The location, although difficult to find, is also excellent. The service at the location was very pleasant!! In short: recommended!

To be repeated

Nice and spacious villa in a prime location close to the beach, center and supermarket. Unfortunately due to the unusual rainfall (travel time at the beginning of November) in the Algarve suffered from leakage and the Dutch TV did not work. Fortunately the local manager was very helpful. To be repeated.

Algarve - Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro began as a fishing village and has thus retained its traditional charm. The name "Carvoeiro" comes from the Portuguese word "carvão" (coal), referring to fishermen who used charcoal to smoke fish.

Within a short distance, you will find supermarkets such as Pingo Doce and Intermarché (within 2 km), numerous restaurants, and bars in the village center. Praia de Carvoeiro is a beautiful beach just 500 meters from the village center. Another alternative is Algar Seco: a unique rock formation with caves and natural pools, only 1 km away. Fort of São João do Arade is a historic fort from the 17th century, located 3 km away.

Additionally, enjoy the natural areas of Carvoeiro, such as the "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina," a protected natural reserve about 50 km away with pristine beaches and coastal hiking trails. Another beautiful park is the "Parque Natural da Ria Formosa," a natural reserve with lagoons and islands located about 60 km away.

The international airport of Faro, located approximately 60 kilometers away, is the nearest airport to Carvoeiro.

Rental conditions

Rental conditions
The rental price includes the use of water and electricity (including the washing of bed linen, etc., maintenance of the pool and garden) and the use of internet WiFi. Not included is the use of air conditioning and pool heating, as well as the wood for the fireplace.

Deposit
Payment of the deposit before arrival, with the 2nd deposit of 70% you are requested to pay the deposit of 500 euros. This will be returned by bank transfer upon departure if no damage has been caused by you. In the event of damage, part or all of the damage may be withheld, and additional payment of any damage incurred is also required.

Payment
When booking you will receive the rental contract, confirmation and route description. The reservation is only final after payment of 30% of the rent. The remaining amount must be paid, including the above-mentioned deposit 8 weeks before arrival in Portugal.

Tourist tax
Up to a maximum of seven nights, all guests 13 years or older will be charged. The following costs will be charged:
- Low season, November 1 to March 31: 1 euro per night per person
- High season, April 1 to October 31: 2 euros per night per person
Please note: the tourist tax is not counted during your reservation request. After your booking has been confirmed, you will receive an invoice in which the tourist tax is included in the total rental amount. This is stated separately on the invoice.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the rental agreement by the tenant(s), the following cancellation costs will be charged:
a. in case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: 50% of the full invoice.
b. in case of cancellation from 8 weeks before the first day of the booked stay: the full invoice amount.

Arrival and departure
You can move into the villa after 4 p.m. and must have left the villa before 10 a.m.; this is in connection with the cleaning of the villa.

Liability
Portugalvillas / landlord(s) do not accept any liability for the consequences of any accidents, etc. during your stay in Portugal, in and around Casa Carvoeiro - as Videiras, caused by whatever circumstances.
